Our Mission
Chirakkal Automotive was founded in 1968 as a small fabrication unit in Chennai, India. Over the past five decades, the company has grown into a multi-plant enterprise with 125,000 sq. ft. of built-up space at Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai. Today, Chirakkal operates four plants, supported by continuous investments in infrastructure, machinery and talent over the last fifty years.
The company serves as a Tier-1 partner to leading OEMs, supplying precision sheet metal components and assemblies to industries such as automotive, defence vehicles, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, and metal furniture.
Since 1968, Chirakkal Automotive has grown from a small fabrication unit into a 125,000 sq. ft. multi-plant operation — delivering precision sheet metal solutions to leading OEMs.
Chirakkal has long-standing relationships with Ashok Leyland, TAFE, SAME DEUTZ-FAHR India, and other leading OEMs. Its focus has remained consistent: building dependable infrastructure, certified processes, and skilled teams to deliver sheet metal products that meet stringent global standards. The company is certified to TS 16949 standards, ensuring compliance with international quality systems.
